Dr. Brandon L. Biehler, DMD
Dr. Biehler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Biehler believes comprehensive care will provide patients with optimal oral health. A healthy smile increases confidence and satisfaction in life. Every dental plan should be tailored to each patient and their specific needs and goals.
Dr. Biehler enjoys working with the community, working with his hands and spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA) and the Freeland Chamber of Commerce.
Yu Chen, Registered Dental Assistant
Chen received her associate degree as a dental technician in 2018 in New York. She was trained on the job as a dental assistant. She is a registered and certified dental assistant.
Chen loves to spend time with family and her cats. She loves to travel and enjoy good food. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Dawn Witte, Practice Coordinator and RDA
Dawn has been in the dental field now for over 22 years. She has worked in different aspects of dentistry. Dawn has been chairside assisting the doctor, a hygiene assistant and also worked in the front office. She truly loves helping patients feel better about themselves and improving their smiles at the same time.
Dawn has lived on Whidbey Island for about 16 years. She thinks it's a beautiful place to live and work. She feels very lucky to be here. Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, camping, fishing and being outdoors together.
Morgan LaFleur, Registered Dental Hygienist
Teeth have been a lifelong interest of Morgan's. She chose a career in dental hygiene after receiving two degrees in anthropology where her interest was analyzing human teeth from past populations. She has worked on archaeological sites in Peru and the Southeastern United States. Her Master's research was done in Italy on a Roman sample from the height of the Roman Empire. Researching teeth, of the past, has given her a broader perspective to bring to her practice of dental hygiene.
Morgan moved to Washington in 2007. She was born in New York and raised in North Carolina. Morgan has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel, enjoy good food, garden, hike and spend time with her husband and animals.
Monica
Forero, Registered Dental Hygienist
Born in New York, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Monica moved to Whidbey Island in 2020. She feels fortunate to have landed in a friendly, team oriented, and patient focused dental practice. Monica has over 20 years of experience in the dental field, a communications degree and a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She provides a well-rounded, holistic approach to patient care.
Monica's hobbies include tennis, yoga, hiking and learning new skills including gardening and working with natural dyes and textiles. She shares her active life with her loving husband and her adorable terrier Beckett.
Carol Heywood
Carol was born in Southern California. She has come full circle in her career. She started as a dental assistant to work her way through college, then moved on to the front desk and office management. Over the years she worked in other fields such as, a finance manager, entrepreneur, board member, self-publisher and author. She returned to dentistry in 2021, when she started working for our office as the Practice Coordinator.
Carol's passion for dancing motivates her to dance and stretch daily. She also enjoys working in her yard and walking her dog, Sadie.
We are saddened to announce the passing of Carol on 1/17/23. She will be dearly missed.
